This RA is the recipe book for you to build a custom, flexible, on-premise VDI environment using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) on Hyper-V 2016. Based on Dell EMC PowerEdge 14G servers, this solutions allows you to use your existing networking and SAN infrastructure, or to use the Dell EMC ones recommended in the RA. The RA also supports high availability (HA) and recommends a series of compatible thin clients for an end-to-end solution. 
 
HCI VDI solution powered by Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and Hyper-V 2016 on a variety of tested 14G Dell EMC PowerEdge server platforms, for you to build. It delivers virtual desktops and shared sessions using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
