Summary
The latest generation of workstations are not able to officially offer Windows XP (32/64-bit) support, however we understand that many of our customers have specific use cases that have yet to migrate to the newer operating systems. To meet this need, we are providing you with some guidelines on how to get Windows XP running on our latest generation of products.
Please understand there is no support offered for this use case and you may follow the below at your own risk with no guarantee of support from Dell.
Process
For the below devices, the drivers posted to support.dell.com for the individual platforms above will allow you to install Windows XP in the standard fashion, however we have only performed our basic coverage of testing with the drivers posted here.

Caveats
The below is a list of known issues and non-working features on these platforms that we found in our limited testing. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list.
AHCI Mode in BIOS setup must be set to ATA.
Power management is not functional (Standby and Hibernate may fail often).
Intel AMT is not functional.
Not all subsystems are present after a standby (S3) power cycle.
Noise and distortion occurs during playback of recorded audio.
Some yellow bangs will still exist even after installation of drivers.
